Sometimes I’m internally like “How is that a trigger?, ” then I realize other people have different life experiences from me, they don’t owe me their story, and I move the fuck on.

Something I really like about MCR’s Sing video; Gerard, or “Party Poison”, puts a gun to a Draculoid’s back and pulls off his mask. The Draculoid then falls (I assume he’s dead now), and “Party Poison” realizes that they were people too. All this time, he had been trying to either run away from the “monsters” or kill them, and he just realizes that they weren’t real monsters at all. When he’s thinking about all this, he forgets that he’s in the middle of a gunfight. He starts randomly shooting again and drops the mask, but he was obviously still thinking about the Draculoid. As Korse comes over to kill him, he picks up the mask. I think as his apology he gives up fighting and lets Korse put his gun to him and shoot-because he had killed so many innocent people already. It was like he was going against his own word, killing all those Draculoids. Also, something I love about the Director’s cut for this video: as “Party Poison” pulls off the Draculoid’s mask, the music drowns out as if you were going into his thoughts. The only thing you heard was the sounds of lasers being shot from everyone in the room. When he snaps back into reality, the music comes back in, and he is killed. I think that this was really cool of them, to think of that.
